King Smolis II Strane of the hats
Smolis II Strane (19-138AD; reigned 51-138AD) is a smilan king of Smixion on Supirion. His reign is most notable for ushering in the era of the hats. When one of his ambitious ministers, Mugsim Sponley, came to court wearing a hat far more ostentatious and gaudy than the king's, Smolis had him executed by melting. The Sponleys then staged a coup in retaliation, seizing the throne and ushering in the Sponley Dynasty. The era of hats would continue for nearly another century.
